Elizabeth Hopper
Elizabeth Hopper, Ph.D., received her Ph.D. in psychology from the University of California, Santa Barbara. As a graduate student, she worked on research projects addressing questions such as how gratitude benefits our relationships, how positive emotions can help us cope with stressful events, and which factors are linked to creativity. Prior to attending UCSB, she received her B.A. in psychology and peace and conflict studies from UC Berkeley and worked in a research lab at UC San Francisco studying health psychology. When she’s not writing about psychology, Elizabeth can often be found exploring the Bay Area and spending time with her dog, Luna. Read more of her writing at https://elizabethhopper.wordpress.com/.
