PROFILE

Christina Swanson is an academic advisor and director of career connections at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She teaches career and skill development courses for undergraduate and graduate students and is part of several student success–focused leadership teams on campus. She holds an M.A. in education and M.S. in entomology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Christina also writes children’s picture books, helping others imagine the power and the choice that they have, no matter how difficult it seems.
