Natasha Bailen, M.A., is in her fourth year in the clinical psychology doctoral program at Washington University in St. Louis. She is interested in how individuals with Major Depressive Disorder experience and regulate their emotions. She has a particular interest in examining how emotions are experienced in daily life using smartphones and other technology. She graduated with a B.A. in Psychology from Pomona College in 2012, after which she spent three years working as a research assistant at Brown University. She is currently exploring how long-standing beliefs about emotions are related to how emotions are experienced by currently and formerly depressed individuals.
