Haijing Wu Hallenbeck, M.A., is a fifth-year graduate student in the clinical psychology doctoral program at Washington University in St. Louis. She is interested in understanding emotion and decision-making difficulty, and how these two processes interact, in individuals with major depression. To do so, she uses a multi-method approach, which includes administering self-report questionnaires, behavioral computer tasks, and daily life assessments via smartphone applications. She graduated with a B.A. in Psychology from Vanderbilt University and worked as a lab manager at the University of Pennsylvania before joining Dr. Renee Thompson’s lab.
