Briefly and partially. The mind arose out of the brain but they evolved different functions. The mind asks the brain questions which the brain MUST answer. The brain receives data from the mind but also through the senses. The brain then cobbles together an answer which it hopes the mind will accept, even tries to persuade the mind to accept. The question is why do some minds accept the answer without question even if it is, “I don’t know” while other minds will say I don’t believe you or I want more information.
