Naomi Ondrasek
Naomi Ondrasek, Ph.D., serves as a Sacramento-based policy advisor and senior researcher for the Learning Policy Institute. Previously, she worked as a California Council on Science and Technology fellow on the California Assembly Education Committee, where she focused on legislation covering a broad range of education policy issues, including child health, curriculum and instruction, college- and career-preparedness, and educational equity. Prior to her time in the California Legislature, Ondrasek trained as a neuroscientist, with a focus on studying how the brain regulates social relationships. Ondrasek received a Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, and a B.S. in Biology from Randolph-Macon Woman’s College.
