Kei Kawashima-Ginsberg, Ph.D., is the director of the Center for Information and Research on Civic Learning and Engagement in the Jonathan M. Tisch College of Civic Life, Tufts University. She leads one of the premier research institutions in the United States that focus on youth political and civic engagement and has coauthored influential reports and articles in peer-reviewed journals in this area. One of her center's strengths is its strong connection to the real world (practitioners, media, and policymakers), equipping her to make complex and rigorous research findings and issues accessible to the general audience.
