King, Ph.D., is an associate professor of education at North Central College, whose research interests include leadership development, social emotional learning, cultural responsiveness, transformative school cultures, and marginalized student populations. As a former elementary/secondary principal and teacher and as a foster parent, she is focused on assuring her efforts have a positive impact and recognizes the gift it is to serve our students.
