PROFILE

Katharina M. Zeiner, Ph.D., is a user experience design and design thinking consultant at Siemens Corporate Technology in Munich, Germany. Her background is in psychology and visual psychophysics (St Andrews), but at some point while studying how we perceive the world, she realized she was more interested in what happens afterwards—how we feel about the world and how we interact with it. Since then, she has focused on what makes positive experiences positive (work on experience categories) and how this can be used to create positive experiences through and with technology.
