Dawn Branley-Bell, Ph.D. is a chartered psychologist and research fellow at Northumbria University. A committee member of the British Psychological Society (BPS) Cyberpsychology section, Dawn specializes in research around social media use, health and well-being, and online behavior. She is particularly interested in online communication around eating disorders, self-harm, and suicidal ideation. Dr Branley-Bell's other research interests include exploring the positive side of internet usage, cybersecurity, and technology-based interventions to support recovery and/or promote behavior change.
