Bruce Goldman

Bruce Goldman, M.S., is a senior science writer in the Stanford University School of Medicine’s office of communications. He covers immunology, infectious disease, transplantation, neurosciences, neurosurgery, bioengineering, molecular and cellular physiology, structural biology, and biochemistry. A recovering philosophy major from the University of Wisconsin, he’s done his best to cover his tracks by obtaining yet another bachelor’s degree, this time in engineering physics from the University of Colorado, and attending finishing school, in cell biology, at Harvard University. He is a member of the National Association of Science Writers and the coauthor of two books about the future: 2020 Visions (Portable Stanford) and Fast Forward (Harper).
