Tom Levy, a native San Franciscan, is a freelance writer and photographer who in a previous life was a staff photographer at the San Francisco Chronicle. He has recently written and photographed stories about guerilla fruit tree grafters in San Francisco, an urban farm program finding a permanent home in Berkeley and two former Berkeley Engineering students now growing their financial services IT startup in San Mateo, Calif. He has a B.A. in journalism from San Francisco State University.
