Stacey N. Doan, Ph.D., received her B.A. from Carleton College and her Ph.D. from Cornell University. She is currently an associate professor in the Department of Psychological Science at Claremont McKenna College. She is an award-winning researcher who has published extensively on resilience, stress, parenting, and health. Her work has been funded by the National Institutes of Health, the National Science Foundation, and multiple private foundations. When she is not teaching, writing papers, or learning new statistical procedures, Dr. Doan enjoys practicing piano, going for runs, and camping. She has two lovely little girls, whom she is raising to be brave and kind.
