PROFILE

Lian Bloch, Ph.D., is an assistant professor in the PGSP-Stanford Psy.D. Doctoral Program in Clinical Psychology. She is a graduate of Stanford University, where she received her B.A. and M.A. in Psychology, and was awarded her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley. Dr. Bloch completed a post-doctoral fellowship at the Stanford University School of Medicine, with specialized training in couples therapy within the Stanford University Couples and Family Clinic. She studies how factors such as emotion and communication impact satisfaction in marriages, and has published in leading scientific journals in these areas.
