Erik Gross
Erik Gross is a program manager for the Aspen Institute’s Citizenship and American Identity Program, which explores the question of what it means to be American and how to promote a shared sense of national identity in an age of demographic flux and severe inequality. In his role, he focuses heavily on the Better Arguments Project, a national civic initiative created to help people bridge divides—not by papering over those divides but by helping people have Better Arguments. Prior to joining the Aspen Institute, Erik worked at the American Council of Trustees and Alumni (ACTA), a nonprofit dedicated to promoting liberal arts education and academic freedom at colleges and universities nationwide.
