PROFILE

Taylor N. West, Ph.D., is a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in the Positive Emotions and Psychophysiology (PEP) Lab within the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience. She is also a visiting research fellow at the University of Sussex. In her work, she investigates the benefits and barriers to social connection between strangers and weak ties, and how improving such connections can advance both individual and societal flourishing.
