Sharon Holbrook

Sharon Holbrook earned her law degree at the University of Virginia and practiced law before turning to a career in writing and editing. Her writing has been published in the New York Times, Washington Post, Real Simple, and many other national and local publications. She has previously served as a managing editor for multiple print and digital publications.

Sharon is fueled by curiosity about the world and excitement about telling its stories. She is most passionate about examining the way we live: the physical places we inhabit; the cultures and histories that connect us; the diversity of people we meet; and what we ask of ourselves and each other. Sharon believes that nearly everything has an interesting story, if only you ask the right questions and tell the tale well.
