Richard Gallagher
Richard Gallagher, Ph.D., is an associate professor of child and adolescent psychiatry and psychiatry at the NYU School of Medicine. He is the first author of the treatment manual used to improve organization, time management, and planning skills that was fully tested and found to be effective for children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorders. Along with Elana Spira and Jennifer Rosenblatt, he has taken the lessons learned from the research to develop the book for parents of all children—The Organized Child—from which this article is adapted.
