PROFILE

Pavica Sheldon, Ph.D., is an associate professor and chair in the Department of Communication Arts at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. She is an author of three books: Social Media: Principles and Applications, Scripts and Communication for Relationships, and The Dark Side of Social Media. She has published 40 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters. In 2015, Sheldon won the Janice Hocker Rushing Early Career Research Award from Southern States Communication Association.
