PROFILE

Elizabeth Doery is a current Ph.D. candidate who is committed to promoting well-being among First Nations People through positively framed research. Through a Research Training Program Scholarship, Elizabeth is conducting research to understand the well-being of First Nations youth and how the aspirations of First Nations researchers could be supported. Elizabeth has engaged with Aboriginal communities for over a decade in Melbourne and Fitzroy Crossing. Elizabeth is a member of both the Cross Cultural and Indigenous Psychology unit and the National Indigenous Knowledges Education Research Innovation Institute at Deakin University.
