I’m grateful for my stepmom.  I love her deeply!  Her light touch and great patience made all the difference in my life.

I’m grateful for my boys - my dear husband, my awesome son, two dogs, two parakeets and a cockatiel who calls himself “Pretty Boy.”

I’m happy to spend an evening with friends.

I’m grateful for all the help my family has received as we go through a difficult transition; for my husband’s kindness, diligence, devotion, and resiliency; for my daughter’s sweet nature and persistent efforts; for gratitude itself.

I am grateful for my parents’ health. They’re in their 70s and have an active social life, and no major ailments that might otherwise make them shut-ins.

I’m happy that my colleagues appreciate me!

I am thankful for friendships.  One such friend is an 8th grade teacher I had 55 years ago.  We still correspond.  I am thankful for her friendship and thankful that in spite of her Alzheimer’s, she continues to live an optimistic life.

My pre-schooler and I arrived at our favorite sweets shop after closing.  I’m grateful that they were willing to open their doors to sell us a marshmellow.
