What’s your Thanksgiving ritual? What are you grateful for? Share it here on our community gratitude journal, open to all who’d like to express their thanks or share a happy thought.
I’m grateful for all the families who will put differences and hurts aside and will gather together on Thanksgiving to reach out to each other in peace and love.
I’m grateful that my dad is out of the hospital.
I’m happy that an old friend will be stopping by for dinner tomorrow night.

I’m thankful for everyone in my life.
I’m happy that my brother and sister are coming to celebrate Thanksgiving with us!
I’m thankful for my husband’s ex-wife. Years after they had divorced, one day she had her daughter go check on her dad at his cabin, and they got him to the hospital just in time. One day later, the doc said, he wouldn’t have been alive.
Grateful for Judy
The hospital where our twins spent their first three months has a Gratitude Tree in their NICU unit. Our boys are almost two now, and everyday we are grateful to the doctors and nurses at Alta Bates for the miracles they worked with our sons. We like to think the boys are grateful, too, but they sure don’t seem to be expressing it to their favorite nurse in the photo below.
Welcome to our community gratitude journal. Every week we post a photo submitted by one of our readers along with all the happy and thankful comments gathered throughout the week.
To contribute, email your gratitude (a sentence or two would be great) or your favorite photo to Janine at email@example.com.
You can also contribute by commenting at the bottom of this post. Please include: your name if you’d like us to use it and any other info you’d like us to list, e.g., if the “gratitude” is from one of your children, it would be great to know his or her age.
