William Marsiglio and Kevin M. Roy
William Marsiglio is Professor of Sociology at the University of Florida. Kevin M. Roy is Associate Professor of Family Science at the University of Maryland. They are the authors of Nurturing Dads: Social Initiatives for Contemporary Fatherhood, from which this essay is adapted. Marsiglio also explores fathering and community in his 2008 book, Men on a Mission: Valuing Youth Work for Our Children.
