Every year since living and working abroad, we’ve invited friends and family to mail contributions to our “Tree of Thanks” (cut out hands covered with things they are thankful for) which we use for our Christmas tree and leave up for the rest of the year!  It’s been so lovely that we’re planning to continue the tradition even after our move back to the States.

Do you have a Gratitude Tree? Tell us about it! Send us a photo! Or, just tell us what you’re grateful for or what makes you happy.

To contribute, email your gratitude (a sentence or two would be great) or your favorite photo to Janine at janinek@berkeley.edu

You can also contribute by commenting at the bottom of this post.  Please include: your name if you’d like us to use it and any other info you’d like us to list, e.g., if the “gratitude” is from one of your children, it would be great to know his or her age.
