VOICES for Peace

The Shift Network presents this Opening Festival for Summer of Peace 2012 featuring a call to action for inner and outer peace.

This is not a Greater Good Science Center Event.

This two-day conference will highlight the work of various peace-building organizations in the Oakland area while sharing peace-building concepts and skills from renowned peace-building teachers and community leaders. Attendees can expect presentations from Maria Muldaur and Friends, the Vukani Mawethu Choir, Emmit Powell and the Gospel Elites, Earth Amplified, and special guest Emcee, Frank “Funny Frank” Olivier, along with world renowned speakers such as Marianne Williamson, Barbara Marx Hubbard, and James O’Dea.
