I’m happy that my daughter likes to help set the table!
I’m happy that my dad, who has been battling illness for a long time, is feeling better and had a good week.
I’m grateful for my dear little daughter who brings me so much joy and happiness as well as an “excuse” to let my really silly side out in the sun! I’m not sure where I’d be without her.
I’m thankful to see the beautiful smiles of my kids. No matter how stressful my day is, when I see the sweet smiles of my kids, a great happiness washes over me.
I am grateful for the fun road trip with my family this weekend, really had great time.
There is a man and his baby who show up at my coffee shop from time to time. They are very quiet (yes, the baby too), calm and peaceful. He is studying theology. She is alert and enjoys looking around. She is an extra cute baby and I am grateful when they show up because it makes me do an automatic smile.

I am thankful my son-in-law was vindicated at his former place of work and has received two job offers!
I’m grateful for “Garbage Collection Wednesdays.” My little boys LOVE to watch the garbage truck and the recycling truck make their rounds on Wednesdays. This week the truck stopped in front of our house and the garbage man climbed ON TOP OF HIS TRUCK to clean some debris. Then he waved to us! My sons were in awe. Of course, it wasn’t until after the truck left that they waved back.
Every week we post a photo submitted by one of our readers along with all the happy and thankful comments gathered throughout the week.
To contribute, email your gratitude (a sentence or two would be great) or your favorite photo to Janine at email@example.com.
You can also contribute by commenting at the bottom of this post. Please include: your name if you’d like us to use it and any other info you’d like us to list, e.g., if the “gratitude” is from one of your children, it would be great to know his or her age.
