Our family sat outside in the Spring sun and decorated eggs this weekend.  We enjoyed all the bright colors (and the muted ones of brown eggs too).  I am grateful for wonderful rituals that help us mark the passage of time and bring us closer together.

I am grateful my car broke down with just me in it, safely and across the street from my mechanic, instead of on the interstate (or crossing the interstate) with my three boys earlier that day. Not having a car that weekend also made me do some much needed spring cleaning and creative cooking. The whole experience proved to be quite a blessing that I am very grateful for!
