Pure joy….....through the eyes of a child.
Got Gratitude? Want to share it with others?
Welcome to our community gratitude journal, open to all who’d like to express their thanks or share a happy thought.
Here’s how it works: every week we post a photo submitted by one of our readers along with all the happy and thankful comments gathered throughout the week.
You can also contribute by commenting at the bottom of this post. Please include: your name if you’d like us to use it and any other info you’d like us to list, e.g., if the “gratitude” is from one of your children, it would be great to know his or her age.
I am grateful for my parents and siblings, all of whom have a hand in helping raise our two young daughters. It does indeed take a village to raise children, and I am just so glad that they are surrounded by strong role models who love them and have their best interests at heart.
Grateful that my body works.
i am just happy : )
My sister died a few weeks ago. We are all heartbroken by it’s unexpectedness. We are all thankful that we all come together for her memorial service. We hadn’t done that in decades. We all realized how precious we are to one another. How much we love each other. We will not be apart again. Not for long. I love my family. Thank you little sister. A perfect farewell gift.
Grateful for a quiet day of “me time”: long swim, yoga, and massage. (Always grateful for school days, grateful that I finally used one to do something for myself.)

I am grateful to be a Mother. Raising my children inspired me to be a better person.
My son definitely saves ‘the best’ for us each day after kindergarden when he is so tired. Just when I was taking another big breath and ready to countdown 1,2,3 he started singing “Go tell it on the Mountain that Jesus Christ was born.” !! I think God was just reminding me what it is all about!
Music is a great picker-upper. I’m happy that my husband and I have so many similar tastes in music
I am truly grateful for my two beautiful daughters Alaya and Bija (age 11 and 10yrs). Through sad and difficult circumstances in our family they have shown remarkable courage and kindness to me and each other.
I had fun practicing a light-saber fight scene for Richard III: Rise of the Emperor.

I really really like the fuzzy bathrobe I got for my costume in Richard III.
Richard, age 11
I am grateful that my extended family is just as fantastic as my immediate family. And that, in spite of the distance, we are close in our hearts.
