Greater Good explores current trends in the study and practice of peace and well-being, including subtopics such as compassion, conflict resolution, resilience, friendships across boundaries, and harmony within families. The magazine fuses innovative research with inspiring stories, fostering dialogue between behavioral/social scientists and parents, teachers, community leaders, activists, and policy makers. Its underlying goal is to highlight the strides we're making (and obstacles we're encountering) toward becoming a more benevolent society.

  Contribute to the Greater Good! Writers for our magazine range from behavioral and social scientists to grade school teachers and journalists. If you are interested in writing an article for the magazine, please first submit a 500 word article proposal to jhmarsh@berkeley.edu. Greater Good's articles are between 1,000 and 2,500 words in length.
