I’m grateful for nature and firefighters and police and ambulance people. All the people in my family and people who care about me. Me and my brother! And animals that are hurt. And all of the above.

I’m ever so grateful for the many dogs (mostly Dobermans) that have come into my life.  They have taught me what unconditional love is, how to forgive, how to relax, how not to judge, loyalty and many many things they have perfected that we haven’t as yet.

I’m grateful that my husband is taking next week off of work. Family road trip!

I’m happy for my sister. She made the Dean’s List at her first year at UT Austin. I know she worked hard for it. Congratulations, Jackie! Wish you were here!

Happy 80th Birthday, Elroy! Happy 80th Birthday, Elroy!

Send us your photos! Every week we post a photo submitted by one of our readers along with all the happy and thankful comments gathered throughout the week.

To contribute, email your gratitude (a sentence or two would be great) or your favorite photo to Janine at janinek@berkeley.edu

You can also contribute by commenting at the bottom of this post.  Please include: your name if you’d like us to use it and any other info you’d like us to list, e.g., if the “gratitude” is from one of your children, it would be great to know his or her age.
