I am grateful I was able to spend time with my friend, who I can hardly see nowadays.  So, have a wonderful trip, Jesse!  Miss you again.

I am grateful for a new day, and for my husband.

After 20 years as a paralegal, my husband’s going to go to law school!  I’m proud of his hard work and I can’t wait to support him through the next 3 years the way he supported me when I was getting my degree.  I love you, honey!

I don’t live near my daughter and her family, so I really love the videos she and her husband make of the daily activities of their children and send to the grandparents.  Because there is a difference in the time zones, I view them late at night and often, the only sound in my home is my laughter as I watch the videos.

I am grateful for amazing friends like Leslie M., whose birthday is today! Also very grateful for my daughter, boyfriend, family, health and a life I love.

I’m happy about going to the beach and riding my bike and going to story hour at the library and reading books and eating bagels and going to Rockridge Cafe.  (Her mother notes that we haven’t actually been to a beach in over 2 years).
Chiara, age 4

Happy Mother’s Day to my mom, my stepmom, and my mother-in-law.  Thank you all for the wonderful example you have set for me.
