On a hot day last spring I stopped by the Walden Center & School campus in Berkeley, to see kids in sopping wet clothes running through the sprinkler.  They were really happy!  We have had 50 years of happy, creative students attending Walden, and have graduated environmentalists, musicians, dancers, artists with bright, confidently incisive minds.
