Raising Happiness

Announcing our New Parenting Podcast!

September 15, 2010 | Happiness Matters Podcast | 0 comments

Listen to our happiness tips for busy parents while you wash dishes, drive to work, or fold laundry!

Welcome to our new Podcast, Happiness Matters.

I often hear parents say “I just want my children to be happy.” But they will also admit it’s confusing to figure out how to accomplish “happiness” on a daily basis.

How can you create a home environment where happiness is a value for everyone in the family? How can we include limit-setting, discipline, and respect as a part of the equation? I hope you’ll join me, Christine Carter, and my pal Nurse Rona Renner for our heartfelt conversations about the science and best practices related to raising happy children.

About Nurse Rona

Rona Renner, RN has been a nurse for over 44 years, and a parent educator for the last 22 years. She was trained by Kaiser Permanente in 1991 as a temperament counselor. Although she no longer works at Kaiser Permanente, she continues to offer classes, trainings, and individual assessments. She has four adult children and two adorable grandsons. Rona is the founder of Interactive Parenting Media and has been the host of Childhood Matters radio show for almost eight years.

If there is a topic you would like to hear us discuss, please post a comment on this blog!  And please tell your podcast-listening friends about our series. You can listen during a ten-minute break at work, while you’re doing the dishes at night after your kids are in bed, or during your new baby’s late-night feeding.  Happy listening!
