I’m grateful that we got to spend the holidays with family and got to spend time with our wonderful cousins and grandparents!

Yesterday, my daughter-in-law shared that she was in awe of the beauty of a winter wonderland scene unfolding before her as she was slowly driving to work. Yesterday, I was thankful for good health and a warm sunny day miles away as I raked the last of our falling autumn ...

I’m grateful for a wonderful, loving husband.

I’m grateful that my kindergartner entertained herself these last couple of days when I was sick and needed to rest.

GJ gratefulness, one friend is lovingly sharing her 84 yr-old husband’s last days. He’s ready and she’s accepted the fact that his cancer is terminal. Across town, after ten long years and a difficult pregnancy, another friend and her husband are joyfully awaiting the birth of their first child. Thus the cycle of life is completed and begun and the connective thread is love.

I’m grateful for a safe trip home with everyone in tact and snacks leftover from the drive.

Grateful for sisters because…they show you what’s cool when you are little and don’t know any better! smile
Marian

I am grateful to have my health, a job that provides a comfortable living and a little extra to share with others, and the love of wonderful people.
Bartholomew Sharpe

I am forever grateful to have wonderful sisters. They’re like no other friends.  Talking to my sister is like looking at myself in a mirror—we share mannerisms, we can finish each other’s sentences, we laugh at the same things. My sister Lulu has never said an unkind word to me in over 65 years.
Phoebe

I am thankful for my family, who have taught me how to love and be loved.
lb

On gratitude for sisters: Whole conversation can be had with just a couple glances.
Ziba

I’m grateful for BART trains and airplanes.
William, age 3

I am thankful to my sister, Paula Feinberg, for her sense of the aesthetic, love of art, original taste in music, her love of the spa weekend, thankful she will tell me that she hates when I tag her in posts, that she has always told me like it is, that she continued to see in me what I could not. I know when we are together that we complete each other. Paula Feinberg, you complete me.
Sofia

I am thankful to have friends that are like my family (which is 3000 miles away) and who include me in their harvest celebration each year.
Susan McCafferty Shannon

I’m so grateful for my little sister. Strong, poised, patient. Now I’m the one looking up to her. Happy Birthday, Jackie!

Gratitude Journal: “Wall of Gratitude”

Welcome to our community gratitude journal, open to all who’d like to express their thanks or share a happy thought.

This week, a few of us parents put together a gratitude wall inspired by your center and other inspiration we’ve had within our school community. But, with so many thanks to be shared within a school that relies on volunteers and a lot of help from the community, we thought a gratitude wall was in order.
Kathy Pine

I am grateful for the ability to accept my children for who they are; not what I want them to be.
Nicole (mother of three)

I’m thankful that I just passed the 5 year milestone of a double mastectomy for breast cancer and chemo. I feel great and will begin volunteering at the Chemo Infusion Clinic where I went for treatment.
Christine

I’m grateful for lavender tea.
sf

What a great Thanksgiving we had! Guests from out of town, cousins from across town, uncles from downstairs. Great food, great company. I am most grateful that when political differences came up, we shared thoughtful nods rather than vocal disagreements.
gina

I am grateful for the faith my parents instilled in me and for my husband and two sons.
Rebecca

I am thankful for the 24 years of marriage I celebrate today (November 19th). It has supported me through highs and lows; exhilarated, challenged, and comforted me; and given me three remarkable children. Those who know my wife, know what a lucky man I am.
Burt

I’m grateful for new down comforters, an early Christmas present to the household.
JB

I’m grateful for Aunt Holly and Aunt Rita’s fabulous recipe for cranberry sauce.
