Join Ma Thida, Kyaw Zwa Moe, and Nay Phone Latt to discuss their journey from being student activists, prisoners of conscience, to their role in present-day Burma, where many former prisoners of conscience have transitioned into roles as parliamentarians, ministers, and civil society leaders. They will also discuss the plight of thousands of former political prisoners, who lack access to basic services and who remain excluded from the emerging dialogue on national reconciliation.
