Mindful Leadership

June 28, 2016

Free webinar raising awareness about mindful leadership, and talking through some approaches to it.

Check out the Greater Good Events Calendar.

As a leader, the way you experience your role, and the influence you have, is affected by the way you reflect on your approach and behaviours. The mindful leader recognises the impact of their actions and beliefs, and makes conscious choices to make these a positive force for good in their context.

This webinar, at 2pm on the 28th June, will explore some of the basic concepts of mindfulness, and how a leader might embody and deploy these to be a positive role-model. It will look at five major aspects of effective leadership than can be developed through mindfulness, including:

  • Self-awareness
  • Presence in the moment
  • Resilience
  • Compassion
  • Calmness

It will be hosted by Nigel Girling, Director of the National Centre for Strategic Leadership, part of Babington Group.
