Daniel Goleman and Tara Bennett-Goleman on “Mind Whispering”

June 9, 2013
Spirit Rock Meditation Center
Woodacre, CA

Check out the Greater Good Events Calendar.

Best-selling author Daniel Goleman and psychotherapist Tara Bennett-Goleman will explore mindfulness and cognitive therapy at this event, a benefit for Spirit Rock Meditation Center and the Seva Foundation. Their talk will draw on Tara’s new book, Mind Whispering: A New Map to Freedom from Self-Defeating Emotional Habits, which details how we can shift our habits of thinking, feeling, and interacting.

Together they will focus participants on the role of mindfulness in working with our habits, and how these play out in our minds, our relationships, and the world at large. Tara’s pioneering approach to healing emotions, honed by her years as a psychotherapist and her personal meditation practice, and Dan’s work on Emotional Intelligence provide a unique opportunity for a truly transformative experience.
