2012 Stanford Compassion Training

The Center for Compassion Altruism Research and Education presents this eight week course designed to develop the qualities of compassion, empathy, and kindness for oneself and for others.

This event is aimed at parents, caregivers, educators, healthcare professionals, therapists, executives, public servants, and people in a wide range of professions and life contexts who seek to practice more compassion for themselves and for others.

The program integrates traditional contemplative practices with contemporary psychology, scientific research and daily meditation to provide participants with resources to cultivate compassion.
