Greater Good Wins Teaching Award

Announcement | April 23, 2010

Recognized for outstanding contribution to psychology education

We’re proud to announce that Greater Good has won the prestigious 2010 Social Psychology Network Action Teaching Award! The award honors research and teaching that “leads not only to a better understanding of human behavior but to a more just, compassionate, and peaceful world.”

The SPN’s panel of experts judged our site to “show originality and contribute to the betterment of society,” and said that our efforts to report on the applications and implications of cutting-edge research “lends itself to widespread adoption by others.”

We’re thrilled to receive such an endorsement of our mission: to bring the best of the new science of well-being to you, our readers, so that together we can foster a more resilient and compassionate society.
