Thank you for thinking of contributing to the Greater Good Science Center's GoodWiki. We welcome contributions from any and all scholars working on the social or biological roots of positive behaviors and/or emotions, broadly defined.

[edit] Our Expectations for the GoodWiki Community

  • At GoodWiki, "anyone is welcome to add information, cross-references or citations, as long as they do so within [GoodWiki's] editing policies and to an appropriate standard. There is no need to worry about accidentally damaging [GoodWiki] when adding or improving information, as other editors are always around to advise or correct obvious errors, and [GoodWiki's] software...is carefully designed to allow easy reversal of editorial mistakes" (as described in Wikipedia's "About" page).
  • "It is important to realize that in contributing to [GoodWiki], users are expected to be civil and neutral, respecting all points of view, and only add verifiable and factual information rather than personal views and opinions." A good source for guidelines about how to participate in a wiki community can be found at Wikipedia's List of Policies.

[edit] Requests to our GoodWiki Contributors

  • Please create a GoodWiki account and log in whenever you edit the site. This is necessary for editing content since we've taken steps to block spamming programs. This also promotes the transparency and community that we're hoping to foster on the GoodWiki.
  • Watch for green text. These mark the sections where we most need your contributions.
  • We encourage GoodWiki author-editors to include their contribution on their curriculum vitae.
  • Please share any and all questions, comments or suggestions with us at GoodWikiEditor

Thank you
