I have to say that sometimes a problem is just a
problem. When my 8 yr old still throws tantrums like
a toddler, and kicks other children and throws rocks
at teachers - that’s just a problem. No opportunity
there that I see.

Actually, I still see opportunity! Tantrums, rock
throwing: yes, a problem, but also teaching
opportunities, opportunities to learn to deal with
strong emotions appropriately…:-)
